I am sitting, I am sitting in silence in the only chair of the kitchen, a fly passes near my ears, and with it the subtle sound of its wings that breaks the stillness of my mind. That moment breaks into tiny waves becoming a bell, and another and another. It enters through my ears and does not settle in my mind, but travels through my memories invading them slowly like the oil that spills on the table and gradually covers every corner until it begins to drip on the floor.
The bells move as if they know where they want to go, in a space that is finite, they bounce, jump, return, turn my mind into rooms that change with the flexibility of the nature that gave birth to those same sounds, and as they reproduce in what seems to be no longer oil, but boiling water, jumping and burning, they take the form of countless rooms, some moving, others in restless stillness, birthing and dying while I continue to sit in silence.
